It has been weird this past week. Since my mom passed I am constantly wandering around feeling like there must be something I have to do only to realize that I have nothing to do of importance. I find myself sitting in the living room with Linda as she watches one of the hundreds of house shows on tv. She looks at me like why are you here? We have talked about this day for years, the day when we don't have a human to take care of any longer and we can do whatever we want. Wel

This was the most viewed blog I ever posted and it means a lot to us all that so many of you were interested in reading about mom. Diana Marich 1930 - 2025 The world lost a real firecracker; for Nancy, Joe, and me, we lost a Mom.   She was loud, stubborn, committed to her husband, and daddy’s little girl. She was the sergeant at arms for the neighborhood, keeping all us kids in line, and protected, from others that might not have been as happy as she to have us playing in the street where she could keep an eye on us all.   Mostly she had rules. Oh, they were nonsensical and arbitrary. They exasperated us
